Horizon offers a wide range of colours & pigments for decorative cosmetics.

These products meet the appropriate cosmetics legislation namely that of the US FDA, the EU or Japan and are used in products such as powders, blushers, lipstick and lip gloss, nail lacquers, eye shadows and liquid foundation. The organic lakes are a range of aluminium, barium, calcium or talc lakes with various dye strengths and have excellent colour properties.

Our Cosmetic Lakes are manufactured with unique proprietary technology to achieve extremely soft and fine particles. Particle size plays an important role in the final product incorporation. It also is a key factor to achieve consistency in shades.

Our Inorganic pigments mainly consist of Iron Oxides both standard and low nickel grades, Titanium Dioxide, Ultramarines, Chrome Greens and Iron Blue.

Horizon also supplies high quality water or oil-soluble dyes for a full range of toiletries such as shampoos, gels, toothpaste, lotions, liquid soaps and shaving products. Horizon's range includes some unique D&C dyes such as D&C Orange No. 5 and D&C Yellow No. 8 and D&C Red No.28.

All our colours for personal care and cosmetics can be supplied micro tested or to a particular micro specification upon request.
